I am wondering; what code language does the apex 350 (steelseries engine) use for it's custom macro's?

Hey guys my name is Jesse and I have a question,

I was thinking: "What cool things could I make my keyboard do when I code something propper using the text (script) macro keys on my apex 350"
So I started looking around the internet and I couldn't really find something I could work with.

Let me explain myself:
I've got the steelseries apex 350 as a keyboard. I've had it for a while now and I kinda wanted to use the script/text function more. This is a function you can acces in the program called "steelseries engine 3.0". You can set different kind's of macro keys. For instance, you can set some key presses, some text like "Lorem Ipsum", or make it upen up certain applications.

Where you can enter the text it says: "Enter script...". So I'd figure you can use some sort of coding language to make that key do certain (custom made) things. Since it says "script" I'd think it is javascript but I am not certain that is true. Can anyone help me out with this problem that I am facing?

I hope we can solve this puzzle together!

I'm not sure what the language is yet as I can't see the image from where I am at the moment. I don't think it would be JavaScript as JavaScript was generally used for web pages for validation and is on the client side. I think it has to be either shell script or bash script. I will try confirm once I get home.
