I bought an intel 655p 1tb nvme m.2 It wont show up in my bios or disk management yet it will on other computers. I updated my bios and everything. I just recently learned that even though it is not getting recognized it still is using Sata ports 3-4. Any help would be much appreciated.

I tried unplugging all my sata cables and leave just the m.2 and no luck

I have an m.2 genie button in my bios but it is greyed out and can't be clicked.

I have a b150 gaming m3 mobo and an i7-6700k cpu. Everything I have read shows they are compatible.

Make sure your BIOS is in UEFI mode or a NVMe M.2 SSD won't show up.
Also , SATA3 and SATA4 ports must be empty when installing the NVMe M.2 SSD.

I know that the Intel 512GB 600p NVMe works, since I installed on a B150 Gaming M3.

i have every port empty when i put it in but it still doesnt show up in bios and im positive it isin UEFI mode. the bios is rly hard to move around in and understand so that doesnt help.
