Question I bought ram and it says Amd but my Mb is intel

Hello there! Is there any issue or is it gonna be a problem if i install F4-3200C16D-16GTZN to Z790 Asrock pro rs/d4?

Just curious cause all i know is if MB compatibility is ddr4 then any ddr4 is fine.

Hey there,

It should work just fine. The AMD marketing is irrelevant. Just set XMP profile and away you go. As long as the ram is in a kit, then you have little to worry about.

The label indicates that the ram settings are for EXPO which is the amd equivalent to XMP for intel
It should not matter.
I don't know if your motherboard can figure out how to get the settings, to go past stock speed.
You can always set the ram settings yourself.
CPU-Z can get you the needed specs.
