[SOLVED] I build a new pc and when i turn it on everything is spinning but the monitor wont detect a hdmi WHY?

So i just build a new pc and when i turn it on the gpu starts spinnig the coolers and cooler but the monitor wont register a hdmi caqble and even when i plug in usb it wont work what do i do

rx 550
i3 9100f
Evga 450 Bronze 80+

Make sure that the monitor is connected to graphics card, and not motherboard. Check the RAMs if properly installed.

If you have on board GPU have you tried that port to see if there's any output? Also have you re-seated the GPU? Fans spin based on power connection, has nothing to do with data transfer from the PCI-e slot. Are you using a straight through HDMI cable or an adapter on one end? Any beep code?

The 9100f has no igpu so the ports on the motherboard are useless.

Icecrean, do you know what bios rev the board has? If it's older than 0419 then it's not going to work till the bios is updated.
