i cannot find the virtualization option to enable it on my bios setup!!

hii all

i installed the vmware to use virtualization but when i install an operating system on the vmware it told me to enable the virtualization on the bios ! but i cannot find the option itself what to do ??

my motherboard is : Asrock G31M-S
my cpu is :genuine intel(R) 2160 @ 1.80GHz (2 cpus ), ~1.8GHz

The E2160 does not support Virtualization.

oh i didn't know that !!! 🙁

okay my question is , if i change my CPU with one that supports the virtualization , do i have to change the Bios itself physically ?? in order to find the virtualization option , or only changing the CPU will tell the add the virtualization option automatically ??

The bad news is you are spending money on obsolete tech to do a CPU upgrade. The good news is that your motherboard supports pretty much all LGA 775 CPUs.

Find if a CPU supports Virtualization or not here.

Personally unless you can do it very cheaply I would not spend money on a system that old. It would be much better to do a complete CPU, motherboard and RAM upgrade if you can afford it.
