Hello.
I've been trying to get my ram to run at it's advertised speed of 2400MHz.
I've got the Corsair DDR4 2X8GB/16GB kit.
On the box it clearly states 2400MHz yet it's only running at 2133.
It's also advertised with low profile memory for high performance overclocking.
Whenever I try to use the XMP or Memory Try it profile for 2400MHz my computer becomes unstable and comes to a full freeze during any stability test. (prime95/memtest)
I'm using the Intel Kaby Lake I7700K processor which i have overclocked (stable) to a 4.6 GHZ.
I'm also using the AMD Radeon R9 290 Video card which I have overclocked aswell to a stable 1075 core clock and a 1625 memory clock.
Now, all I want to know if why I can't manage to overclock my ram, especially since it's advertised at a higher speed than it runs.
My PSU is the VS650 Corsair.
I've got the MSI Z270 Gaming M3 motherboard.
Regards
Tom
