Hey!

I just bought my second BenQ XL2420T - using it with my GTX970 Reference Card.

The problem is, that I can't figure out how to get both run 120 hz. I can only do this by enabling Nvidia Surround which makes my monitor go 3840x1080, which I am not interested in.

Both monitors only run 60 hz at this moment. Any solutions? :)

Oh btw, I am using a DVI cable on one monitor and a DisplayPort on a second monitor. Does that have anything to do with it?

I am out of ideas.

Thanks for the quick answer.

I figured out that I can get 120 hz on both of my monitors but only if I use NVIDIA's option "Surround" - but that makes my resolution go from 1920x1080 to 3840x1080.

I can also get 120 hz just by having one of the monitor turned on (both the DVI or DisplayPort, doesn't matter which one).

But somehow I am not able to get the 120 hz "extended" to both monitors.
DVI single link only carries 60Hz. If you dont have a dual-link DVI output, you could try a HDMI-DVI adapter but you cant be certain it'd work.

You should be able to set the DP output to 120Hz though in Nvidia Control Panel or Windows Display Settings.
