Question i cant find a compatible parts list for laptop

i would like to change the system board in my HP Notebook (17-ak012nr) to something with a stronger processor/graphics. it seems no matter how much i look i can only find the OEM replacement board. is that what im stuck with?

yes. laptop are not build to be interchangeable

As RGD1101 stated laptops are not meant to be upgraded (with the exception of an external GPU if you laptop can support it via thunderbolt port).

Unless you can get a whole new board cheap the money would be better spent towards a small desktop.
