i cant find the option to switch sata mode on msi motherboars

hi,i have serious problem with a format/installation windows 7(stucks at 0%,i tried with bootable usb & dvd but nothing),i must change tha sata mode ,but i cant find the option to switch on msi motherboard ...thanks in advance!

What MB do you have? Because not all the MB have those option if the MB is old.

If you use the sata HDD, you need to go to the BIOS> Standard CMOS Features>Primary IDE Master/ Slave, Serial-ATA 0/1/2 Primary/ Secondary Channel, then set up the setting.

Your MB has NVIDIA chipset, maybe only have IDE or RAID, check the manual. If you use SSD you are better use the raid mode. For regular HDD either one is fine.

If it still doesn't work out, maybe the hard drive ( either SSD or HDD) has problem or the win7 disc has problem.

i tried but nothing happens,but i realised that i can install windows xp or ubuntu ..that is not bad..thanks again
