I can't get my monitor to turn on with my desktop! I have DIV on both ends of a cable that plugs into my graphics card on one end, and into my monitor on the other end. But my monitor still says "no signal input". Please tell me if I am plugging my cable into the right place, or even if I'm using the correct cable. Also please tell me all possible ways I can fix this problem. Thanks you for your time. Have a good day.

Yes it is new, and I built it just yesterday. My CPU, GPU, and power box are all working fine, but I think my motherboard may be defective. There is a blinking red light in DRAM_LED whenever I turn my computer on, and once in a while, the CPU_LED flashes red.

Here are my parts:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4430 Quad-Core Desktop Processor 3.0 GHz 6 MB Cache LGA 1150
Mobo: Asus Z87-A DDR3 1600 LGA 1150
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 4GB Single DDR3 1600 MT/s
Hard Drive: Western Digital Velociraptor 600 GB SATA III 10000 RPM 32 MB Cache
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7770 2GB GDDR5
PSU: APEVIA ICEBERG ATX-IB680W-BL 680W ATX12V

Thanks for your time. Happy (late) Thanksgiving!

That actually happened to me when i was working on my build, so i connected it to another display via hdmi and was able set everything up. Give it try you might get lucky like i did.

Yes it is spinning.

I tried doing that with my TV, but it didn't work.

Is the cpu fan connected correctly to the cpu fan 1 header? Also, verify that the ram is sitting okay, maybe try it with just one module at first. While these led's are blinking, you wont get a signal to your monitor.

Yes the cpu is working fine, and ram can't be pushed down any more. Right now I'm thinking there's a compatibility issue between the motherboard and the ram.
