I can't ping! I receive this error.

For some reason all of a sudden when I try to ping anything in command
prompt, either on the internet or local network, I receive a bunch of
illegible symbols in the command prompt screen and a pop-up error message
that reads:

16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem
Command Prompt - ping [name of computer I was trying to ping]
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
CS:055a IP:ffe2 OP:fe ff 1d 09 72 Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

Never mind, I found that this was caused by win32.p2p-worm.alcan.a and can be
removed by Ad-Aware SE Personal. Thanks for the assistance though.
