I've had this problem for quite a long time, an SSD I have installed does not show in my file explorer despite it being installed and reading in Disk Management that it is online and partitioned. I can't format it, delete it or anything else without Windows simply saying that "Format is not allowed on the current boot, system, page, crashdump or hibernation volume."

It's not my main drive either and doesn't even give me a name beyond (Disk 0 partition 1) to three, any assistance?

Solution
I fixed it! Sorta. I have no clue why it did what it did but I performed a really round about situation of wiping three terabytes worth of drive space, reinstalling windows after formatting that drive through a Linux installation and then reinstalling windows windows and yadda yadda.
Don’t be me, don’t do what I do.
