Go back to a system restore point before you installed it <Mod Edit>. You might want to give VMware a try as it is much nicer and better behaved in many cases.

If that doesn’t work you might have to reinstall windows

What happens if you try to install it again?It should pick up on the old installation and fix it so you can then uninstall it afterwards.

I did what he said and it worked. I will try vmware because when I started booting linux on the vbox, nothing happened, I just had a purple screen.
