I can't use my external mouse and external keyboard at the same time.

Hey, I have a Toshiba L850 and I bought an external mouse and keyboard, however eventhough I have three USB ports I cannot use more than one external device at once including speakers... Need help urgently!

Are the speakers powered via USB (ie no mains input required)?

If yes, it could be caused by insufficient power at the ports. As a test, unplug the speakers.
If KB & mouse now work okay, it's a USB power problem.

Buy a "mains-powered USB hub" , plug the hub in to mains wall-socket and computer.
Now plug speakers in to that hub.
