I built a new PC. Specs:
Mobo: Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2 AMD AM5 ATX Motherboard
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X Raphael AM5 4.5GHz 8-Core Boxed Processor
Ram: G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5-6000 PC5-48000 CL36 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit F5-6000J3636F16GX2-FX5 - Black
GPU: ASUS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super Dual EVO White Overclocked Dual Fan 12GB GDDR6X PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card
PSU: be quiet PURE POWER 12 M 850 Watt 80 Plus Gold ATX Fully Modular Power Supply**
**Originally harvested still functional EVGA750 G3 from previous build. When new PC started having problem it seemed like a PSU problem, so I got new PSU and installed. Problem persisted.
When I built the new PC i upgraded from windows 10 to windows 11
I have done some amount of troubleshooting, however I'm not confident that I have the right programs am configuring them correctly, so instead of dumping what I've gotten thus far here, I'd rather be told specifically how to troubleshoot and how to set up the programs that give me the reading that will help inform.
The PC runs normally, however while running a game (thus far its happened during cyberpunk and ghost of tsushima it will randomly crash/reboot. It just goes black and then restarts.
I don't *think* its a temp issue, because 1) I've run furmark and it doesn't crash during that, and 2) I've run afterbuner with temps showing in an overlay in the cornerand it doesnt seem to be absurdly warm in the CPU or GPU. However, again, I'm not confident in my configuration of either of these pieces of softwear,
I could use a little help figuring out where to look for clues on what the cause could be.
