I don't know if it's my graphic's problem :(

ince last week, my computer cannot run any games smoothly. I tried running MW3 and Project Blackout. For Mw3, the graphics are horrible and loading takes forever. For Project Blackout (which isn't a demanding game), I got like 12 fps. Even after running only Project Blackout on a Samsung SSD, I got the same results.


Pc Specs:

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate/ 64-bit
Motherboard: Gigabyte M68MT-S2
Processor: AMD FX-4100 3.6 ghz
Memory: 8192 MB RAM
DirectX 11
AMD Radeon HD 7850
Samsung 840 120GB SSD
Antec 1200 psu


I unplugged my original HDD and only downloaded Project Blackout on the SDD, along with a fresh install of Win 7. I uninstalled previous AMD card's drivers and installed the 7850 drivers from given disc. Is it my graphics? 🙁!

I'm at a loss I'm unsure why you are experiencing the frames you are. I wonder if anyone thinks overclocking would do anything?

It shouldn't be my graphic's problem, b/c I just removed the 7850 and put in a 6670; with according drivers. Still the same thing lol.

Do you think it's a cpu issue? Will OC do the job? :O confused :S

Okay with the same application you can track your CPU usage maybe that has something to do with it I'm really unsure.

When i'm in game, cpu goes to 3600 mhz. ratio: 18.0 x

out of game: 1406 mhz ratio: 7.0x

Idk should I OC? I'm unsure too 🙁

Idk if extra is a really high resolution pack but maybe turn that down and see if your frames increase.

One thing you do is look at your programs running in the background and try and close all of them and see what happens. All of them meaning skype, anti virus spyware, I don't mean everything I don't know what you run on your computer.

Its probably the CPU

I tested every single hardware by swapping everything out. (regarding the graphic drivers, I uninstalled every driver and installed the latest version; still didn't work.)
I canceled out the probabilities and only my MOBO was left. So, I replaced my Gigabyte mobo, with an ASUS M5A97 LE 2.0. Downloaded according drivers and everything worked great after ^^
