this day when i playing dota 2 the most cpu bound game ,i realized that my i7 14700f core usage is using only half .i got 20 core 8p and 12e so it is only using half.idk why this happen and i did not get the maximum perfomance in middle game

Your game probably doesn't need that many cores (not coded, to use that many).
If only half of cores is utilized at 100%, then it will show as 50% total core utilization.
This is perfectly normal.

Dota 2 uses a mix of cpu and gpu but doesn't utilise the maximun speed or potential of high end devices. Seems to be due to how the game is programmed. There is not much you can do. Certain characters can make the game laggy even with top end hardware. Cheers.

Start task manager.
After gaming a while, look at task manager performance/cpu view.
Right click on the graph and set it to logical processor view.
You should get a good idea as to how the game uses processors.
Post an image if you can.

Seems normal to me.

Hey there,

What are you using to determine this?

The E-cores are not used for gaming. Only P -cores. This is why it's likely low CPU usage. But think about it. The CPU has 20 cores, or which only 8 are used for gaming and the other cores for background tasks or web browsing, that kind of thing.

If your P-Cores are going up to 5.6ghz when gaming (you can use HWInfo to watch the clockspeeds) then your CPU is working fine. You should be more concerned about temps of the CPU than how much usage.

What app are you using to show the CPU clocks? MSi Afternburner?

I am using msi afterburner, the description can be found in the picture which i discuss with skynetrising.
