I don't know if it will be fixed but this is something I have already pointed out, the new front page design is only a few days old and I hope that is fixed

The new desktop version kind of sucks, but the new mobile site is pure abomination, basically an ad-farm.

Brave and AdBlock browsers for mobile take care of that. I haven't browsed the web without an ad blocker practically since the moment they (ad blockers for any platform) hit the streets.

You shouldn't get any adverts on forums now since you all over the minimum number of Best Answers needed, but Front page isn't linked to user accounts so benefits we all have here don't apply on home page. I don't know why they aren't..,. they used to be on the old software.

I have never looked at front page on my mobile either. Not in a rush. So far haven't been asked to stop using my ad blockers on home page here but I have on Toms Guide.

I kind of do like the fact that clicking on Forum opens in a new tab. Though, I wouldn't be particularly upset if that feature went away, either. 🤷‍♂️

its not consistent, if you click home from forums, it loads in same tab.
If you click forums from home page, you get a new tab.
It should be same reaction both directions.

I was ok with the old home page more so then the new design. Sometimes change for the sake of change doesn't bring about a better product.
