I currently have a 250gb SSD and a 1TB HDD. I want to keep my SSD as clean as possible with my OS on it. So I'm wondering how i make it so my desktop/download/document etc.. files are saved to my HDD and not my SSD. I know i can manually do it when installing programs but i want my desktop files and what not to save to my SSD.

Can i move my User file from my SSD to my HDD or does that create problems.

Thanks in advance!!

And for your applications and a 250GB drive? I'd install them on the SSD.
Having them on the HDD tosses out half the functionality of having the SSD.
