Hi Guys,
i just got a brand new XFX Radeon 7950 Core Edition.
i was installing it (I WAS WEARING ANTI STATIC GLOVES AS ALWAYS)
and i left it next to me on my bed as i removed my old R7 260X card.
and i accdently left it too close to the edge of my bed and the box fell off with the card in it.
(2 FT DROP on to carpet)
the card was also still in the anti static Bag
basically what happened is the box hit the floor and the gpu rolled out face first
(The Metel Part) no physical damage.
Gpu is working great everything normal.
like i said it just rolled out of the box because the it was in the box after hitting the floor and it was in the anti static bag so no damage could have been given that way. no physical damage.
card works amazing.
Im just asking this because well its a brand new 300$ video card and uh just checking.

If it works It's most likely fine, but to be sure run benchmark such as Furmark, to check if fans work properly and all cores are intact.

Hi, I also dropped my EVGA Gtx 1050 ti on a tile floor, about 4ft drop, the back metal plate tip got bent, when I plugged it in, the fan isn't working, and there's no display, is there anything I can do to fix it?

There was a video a lot like that on Youtube, where jaystwocents fixed a review card sent to him, it was a 1070 i think, where previous reviewers had it and one of em dropped it before being sent to jay and he fixed it by removing the fan cover and bending out the part that got squished in when it fell, causing the fan to not work, causing the whole GPU to not turn on cause one fan wasn't running. But once he fixed the bend, the fan had access to run causing the GPU to turn on, and in the end showing a display.
