2. Look in the bios options for CPU performance & see if it has something like "Multicore enhancement" or whatever terminology ASUS use in their bios for socket 1700 to. I know on Gigabyte boards, at least with 11th gen, that was an option & it certainly helps when benchmarking or getting those extra FPS in your games. It took my i7-11700K base clock to 4.9GHz from stock 4.6GHz - just be sure your cooling is up to it.
I've activated Multicore enhancement, which was on auto before, but I don't see any difference

Maybe my problem is about something in the physical PC rather than a virtual problem, cable, connection with cables, i don’t know

Seems a bit like my cpu has a problem, very volatile temperature, I don’t know if my gpu has a problem it doesn’t seem like it does

I maybe messed up something in the build I don’t know, I’m quite desperate about the PC problem

I will try later but I’m not convinced it will change a thing
Let me tell you my experience:
1 week ago I installed new driver 537.13 which is a buggy driver
Alongside I upgraded my GPU.and I had crash, lag, high CPU temp. Blah blah blah
One of my friends told me this driver has issue so I installed previous driver and all of my problem solved.
So drivers affect CPU and whole system functions

I feel like my PC is under-performing.

I bought all the parts close to 1 year ago, and I gave up searching for the problem as I never really found it.
I'm playing on 1080p and I'd like in the future to buy a new monitor, something like 360 Hz, 1080p or 1440p.

But I'm having lower performance compared to benchmarks I've seen on the internet.

Some examples :
  • On CS:GO, getting 250-350fps, low settings
  • On Overwatch, getting from 300 to 550 fps, whereas on benchmarks they are consistently at 600fps (max cap)
  • On Valorant, getting 450 fps average on low 1080p but 99% lows up to 170 fps

It's decent yeah for average people, but it's way lower than people's benchmark, and imagine I want to go 1440 360 Hz, it will be nearly impossible, and I shoud be able with my config to do so.

I want the best out of my config.

I also work full time with my PC so i'd like not to do something too risky as I need it for the next day.

Here's my config :
  1. Watercooling : NZXT Kraken X53 240mm
  2. Power supply : Be quiet! 1000W Pure Power 11 FM 80 + Gold
  3. RAM : Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB 5200MHz C40
  4. Motherboard : Prime Z690-P
  5. Case : NZXT H7
  6. Graphic card : RTX 4080 16GB Gaming Trio

Some complementary info :
  • This was my first PC build.
  • In BIOS, for the CPU, "Performance Core Ratio" is Auto.
  • I did not install the last version of the BIOS as I don't know if it will change something.
  • I activated XMP.
  • I did not let the AIO go 100 % all the time as it has a quite annoying high-pitched noise.
  • Already talked about this on another website which is as they said kind of a "brother" site, talked a lot about airflow.
  • Something I don't know if it has a big impact, but when I built my PC, I used the SSD NVME with the OS and stuff I had on my previous PC and directly put it on my new PC, I did reset it (I don't remember if I reinstalled Windows with it or just basic reset).
  • I feel like the CPU is maybe the problem, the GPU is going fine, the CPU has a very volatile temperature.
Disable all unnecessary programs from starting in the background. Hit Ctrl + Alt + Delete, then click the startup tab, then disable everything that is not needed for the computer to simply be on. Then restart and re-test.

If the cpu temps are fluctuating a lot - that is volatile, is the cooler mounted properly? LGA1700 was a challenge to mount after market coolers to them, there are 3rd party products to fix this though & have been on the marker for a considerable time already.
If the cooler is not mounted properly with enough but not too much TIM, then throttling will take place & thus dampen performance.

Have you tested this in benchmarks? that is before & after. Is this feature working properly on your board? you'll have to get HWiNFO app & measure this to be sure.

I installed the drivers suggested to me in Armoury Crate, the software that comes with the motherboard
Also I had different version of the graphic card drivers and it always remained the same

I mean yeah, it's mounted properly, I also screwed it max so it is closer to the CPU

Oh indeed there's a lot of information here, I don't understand all of it but yes.
This is the overall, can you do something out of it ?

If you need further information just tell me

If you screwed it in "max" you may have overtighten it & caused damage. No need to get carried away with screw tightness on 3rd party CPU heatsinks, only moderate tightness is all that's needed. If its overtightened it can cause warping of the motherboard & even the cpu it's self. Not trying to alarm you, just letting you know, you can look it up on the net, there are or were reports of this happening in the early days of LGA1700 socket, that's why there are numerous 3rd party solutions to fix this issue available now.

According to HWiNFO, your running 40-40-40-77 @ 5200MT/S, that's the same timings as bog standard Jedec for 4800MT/S. You have an XMP kit, I get that, but Corsair are overly conservative with what these sticks are capable of when tuned properly. CL40 @5200MT/S is barely noticeable in performance upshift from 4800MT/S CL40. That would definitely hamper performance of your system overall.

Those sticks you have are running Samsung B-die ICs, I have a set of those on one of my Corsair Vengeance kits with Zen 4 platform. I could get them up to 30-34-32-70 @ 6200MT/S with 1.41 / 1.37 for the VDD &VDDQ rails. But to OC to that level & be stable in windows took time & effort. Don't go there unless your prepared to put in the effort to achieve it.
Typically I would do MT86 first to get an idea if the settings I've dialled in are working or not, passes ok then move on to Windows memory diagnostics app, if it passes that, then run MemTestPro or something similar, heck even prime 95 large FFTs will tell you pretty quickly if your RAM OC & CPU IMC can handle severe memory stress, at least a couple of hrs minimum for gaming stability imo.

I mean idk, even when everything is turned off in the background, with every utility stuff like Keyboard software and stuff, it is still saying "25.4 GB free of 32 GB"

Windows maybe ?
