It all started one night after I finished a session of Arma 3. I went on to play other games like Battlefield 4 and League of Legends, and I saw that my ping would spike from 80 to 200. Normally my ping is around 40. This happened every night, so I thought the high ping had to do with the time of day for whatever reason. I then noticed that I was having high ping ONLY on the online games other than Arma 3. Web browsing, watching videos, and playing Arma 3 itself went as smooth as always, but whenever I would open an online game, boom, 200 ping.
So, I did a test. I went throughout the whole day without opening Arma 3. The results were a constant ~40 ping though the day, even at the later hours at night when my ping was supposed to skyrocket on Battlefield 4 and League of Legends. I then wanted to see what would happen to my perfectly normal ping if I opened Arma 3. I proceeded to open Arma 3, play it for about 10 minutes, close it, and go right back to Battlefield 4 to check my ping. Lo and behold, my ping jumped all the way to the 100-200 range, spiking constantly. So, it has to do with Arma 3... somehow. I have no idea. Sorry for the lengthy post. Any suggestions are appreciated!

check your processes running before and after playing Arma 3 . Keep screenshots of the list of processes , so you can track what new process is added . End the new processes that were not running before. You can also run Resource Monitor in Performance tab in task manager and see how much bandwidth is being used by which process and kill that if it not related to the game you are playing currently.

What are your computer specs, cable/router type with model numbers isp service ?
Too be honest there may not be anything you can do about it, if its not slowing you down in game don't bother it.
If its causing an issue in other games like lag, jittering or game client crash, call your isp and have them verify a ping speed issue they can resolve..

I suggest you read over this before doing anything else.
