I got an ACER Predator 17 laptop and I can't find the 1tb Hard Drive

I bought and ACER Predator 17x and it came with an 256gb SSD and a 1tb Hard Drive, but when I go into File Explorer it only shows the 256gb SSD, but when I go in the Computers BIOS it shows a 256gb SSD and a 1tb Hard Drive, it also shows this in Intel Rapid Storage Technology, I just can't find it in File Explorer or in the settings for storage. It is also in RAID 1, I don't know if that matters though. Anything would help please. I spent a lot of money for this laptop and I would like it to work with the 1tb Drive because that was a main reason for buying it.

Open Disk Management. Does the drive show in the bottom area as unallocated?

It doesn't even show up in Disk Management

I had this same error with my 1 tb HDD. This is how i fixed it to show up in windows as well:

First,go to manage pool spaces.Once there,hit "delete space(s)"

Now go to disk management and partition the disk. Should show up after this 🙂
