I got drr2 ram and would like to upgrade it

Hello everyone, it's because i got some crappy drr2 ram with 8gb and 400MHz per slot.
My motherboard is Acer RS780HVF and i would like to ask if it's supports DRR3 ram.
But if it supports drr3 ram will my fps increase in games or.
I got GTX 580
AMD phenom x4 965 3.4 GHz.

nothing you do will make any difference unless you're only running 1 stick. got a link to the board?
