How would I go about changing my operating system from windows 8 to xp

I was using it on a laptop the other day - and I agree. It was terrible. Basically, you need to format and install a copy of Windows 7 (or XP). You'll need a legit key for whichever version you choose. Basically, just pretend you're doing a re-format, and instead just skip re-installing 8.

Any particular reason you hate it? If you are having a specific issue, let us know. Perhaps we can help provide a solution that would save you the trouble of backing up your data and reinstalling Windows XP?

Going back to W7 from W8 is unwise in some scenario but a good call for other scenario. However, I can guarantee that going back to XP from W8 would be most unwise.
