Question I have 1 300gb drive. i formatted it or created new and it shows up twice? Internal/External

It seems it shows up as an internal and external at the same time>? its a big hdd lol should i reformat it through dskm or use a win 7 install disc and wipe it?
Any help is much appreciated.

Stumped? I know i am going to restore the pc then do install disc if that doesnt work. Ill post the update after but unless you knew why or another way.

Check for updated BIOS and Chipset Drivers.

I had the same issue with my GigaByte Aurous Extreme when I first got it. I had two seagate drives showing up as external.
I found that there was a newer Chipset driver available for the mainboard. Installed it and updated the BIOS and the drives stopped showing up as external.
