Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS.

Is your computer a new build or has the problem ("missing RAM") just occurred?

RAM module specs?

Did you make any hardware changes and, if so, why?

Are you using a matched set of RAM modules - ( 2 x 8GB, dual channel) kit?
