I didn't really know how to put it in the title, but basically my main HDD (C) that has all my data has Windows 7 Ultimate installed. I wanted to upgrade to Windows 10, but I do not have another HDD big enough for a back up. Instead I installed Windows 10 onto a empty internal HDD that I had lying around. When I have both plugged into my PC. Windows 10 boots up and all the data on drive C stays on drive C. Is there a way to restore my desktop folders and steam games, etc. If not how can I access my desktop files on the hard drive itself. Thank you

If I understand your question, I think you could use EasyBCD to set up a dual boot environment. Any apps you have on 7 though will still have to be installed on 10 if you want to run them there.
