I have 2 operating systems on 2 HD's In the MSI BIOS I can only have one OS in the boot data at a time. How can I have both

The board is FM2-A55M-E33. What would be the best BIOS settings so that I can have sort of a menu?

You need to choose a BIOS option to ask you which hard disk to boot from every time you start he machine. It slows the boot process by a few seconds but it keeps the two OS apart.

The BIOS "should" automatically detect if there are 2 or more operating systems and automatically give you the options of what to boot from when you turn it on. This should work the same whether its multiple hard drives or multiple partitions on a single drive (it should also boot a specific one of those operating systems automatically after 30 seconds, usually the sata port with the lowest number assigned to it). If your specific motherboard doesn't do this automatically (it should but I'm not 100%) then you would need to make some changes on your motherboard and that step will be unique to your specific BIOS. If it does not do this automatically its likely the OS did not install correctly/corrupt/invalid etc etc.

Alternatively you could make a small partition on one of the drives for a custom front end I don't know of any of these personally but I'm sure it exists.... somewhere... That would be the only way to have it remain "pretty" while selecting the operating system you wish to boot up. Just stick with the black and white bios, less things to go wrong.

Just install your OS on the other hard drive and plug it into an open port on your motherboard it should be pretty simple.
