I currently have the following specs

- 16gb corsair vengeance 2400mhz ram
- GTX 1060 6GB MSI
- AMD Athlon X4 760k
- Micro-ATX Bitfenix M Case
- a88xm gaming msi motherboard
-80+ gold evga modular psu 650W
- SanDisk SSD A120g
- 1tb 7200rpm hard drive

I do a lot of gaming and would like to run newer games, my processor is an obvious huuuge bottleneck and i'm pretty sure its dying.

I'd prefer to get on ddr4, don't mind if its less than 8gb, i can always upgrade later since i can sell the ddr3 ram.

sorry just noticed i posted on the wrong section d::

Your gpu, and storage are all pretty good, so just work around that. I would say go for the Ryzen series (probably Ryzen 3) and the compatible mobo and ram.

An example...(you can save a few bucks with this...) (If you are skeptical about ram, I own that model and it didn’t blow or stop working, it looks great, and...well...ram is just ram in the end.)

My case is micro atx, that motherboard won't fit in my case. Should I just get an atx case or just a micro atx motherboard
