I have 6 gb ram installled only 3.19 is usable

i have installed 1x4gb and 1x2gb in installed in my both slots of ram
but in my system properties i can only 4gb installed 3.19 (usable)
to check what is wrong with the other 2gb ram of my pc i installed 3rd party app that can tell how many memory in installed and how many ram slots are being used software names:- Cpu-z and Rammon they both are showing that 6gb ram is installed in my pc

Well two possibilities, first and most likely you are using a 32bit OS which can only address 4gb of memory total including VRAM in your gpu, thus the 3.19gb usable. Second possibility is the 2gb stick is not compatible with the other stick or the mobo.

Another solution, assuming both of the above ones don't apply, is that a specific maximum memory is set.

To fix this:

■ Press Windows Key + R
■ Type 'msconfig'
■ Select the 'Boot' tab
■ Select 'Advanced Options'
■ Uncheck the 'Maximum Memory' box
■ Save changes and reboot.
