When I first realized this problem I only had 2gb available, then went into the system settings and set the maximum memory to 8gb, when I restarted my PC, it said that there is only 4gb available, I repeated the same thing a few times but nothing changes. I have one stick of 8gb
here are the pictures of my System INformation.
Any idea how to fix this?
Aslo, in BIOS it says sthat 7gb are available...

I am using Windows 10 but the problem isn't that the ram is used, but unavailable

Nothing wrong here. You have 7,4GB of memory available, and you are actively using 4,6GB.

If you wonder where is the last 600MB missing, it is most likely reserved for integrated GPU. In most computers you can change this amount in BIOS and lower it. If you have a discrete graphics card and do not use integrated GPU at all, you can also completely disable iGPU and free all the remaining RAM.

Why is it then that in the resource monitor it shows that 2gb is around 50% of memory? Also what confuses me is that in the system information window, It is said that there Total Physical Memory 7,45 GB , but Available Physical Memory 4,12 GB. Can I play games that need 8gb ram now?

Also, when I go to BOOT advanced options and change the max ram to 8000Mb, and click ok, and open that window again, the max ram is automatically changed to 3904
I tried setting it to different values, but it always changes to 4000 less
(6000 to 2000) etc

Do you mean this?

This is a new build. All the parts are new except the hard drive but it was formated and my old gpu which I have to upgrade . I have been using the pc for 3-4 months, but only now realized I have a problem with my ram.
mobo is asrock b450m pro4, have one m.2 250gb ssd, 1 1tb hd, ryzen 2600x cpu and an old 1gb gpu I don't even remember the name of.

So is it possible for me to play a game that needs 8gb of ram?
