for some reason the display with a supported resalution of 1600x1200 is extremely blur'ed when i look in control panel its just called pdp. i cant find a way to sort the issue and windows according to samsung does not use the proper settings for uxga. its an enterprise level 42 inch samsung display. and im just trying to sort the issue out

biggest problem im seeing is the fact that its 60hz horizontal and 75hz vertical witch really messes up with windows 8

model is a samsung ppm42m7hbx/xsa

when i spoke to there live chat they told me to speak to business support as its an enterprise level device and they are not able to provide support

any help would be greatly thanked

Solution
Native pixel resolution PPM42M7H - 1024 x 768
not surprised that a resolution higher than it's native resolution is blurry...
get a better monitor or lower the resolution to native

If I tried to display a 4K resolution on my 1080p (native) HD monitor...
It would seem blurry compared to REAL 4K monitors because it doesn't have enough pixels.

Keep in mind, just because it supports a resolution higher than it's native doesn't mean you should go beyond the native.
Using a resolution beyond the native resolution should only be done if there is no other options available.

Alternatively you could try a resolution that is an exact DOUBLE of to 1024x768 but that monitor doesn't support that.
The manual suggests you try 1280x1024.
I personally...

I personally suggest you stick with 1024x768 (its native resolution) at 75Hz refresh and switch to a DVI cable, for the best quality picture possible on that monitor.

called samsung tech support and the guy said to use 1600x1200 at 60hz with a dvi-d to hdmi adaptor and so far its crystal clear :) working well too i have 2 of these one is newer and only supports the lowest setting of 1600x1200 (different model and such) so far samsung's suggestion is working but only time will tell
