Question I have a 6gb 1660 but apparently its only using 2gb?

Hi so ive had a 1660 for about a month now, and i just downloaded speccy, checked everything and it says "2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 (EVGA)" when its meant to be 6gb?
Am i being stupid?

Speccy is known to report incorrect capacity of VRAM. It also reports 4GB of VRAM for all 1070s and 1080s

Don'y use Speccy, or DXDIAG to get any GPU info. Use this GPU-Z tool instead..Post a screenshot if possible:
