[SOLVED] I have a A320M-HDV R4.0. I am looking into adding a RGB light strip to spice my PC up a bit, I later found out I need a 4 pin rgb header on my mobo.

I had a look for one on my mobo but could only find 3 pins. However later I found a 4 pin named 'CHA_FAN1'. Will this work to control the light strip? (the kit im looking at includes a controller)

Solution
The specifications show the motherboard having no LED strip lighting headers. CHA_FAN1 is not a connector for a light strip.

This should be a factor in your buying decision for a motherboard.

The MSI A320M PRO-M2 V2 has 1 x LED strip connector. It appears the motherboard sells for about $5 more than the A320M-HDV R4.0.
