I have a amd Athlon IIx2 b26 3.20ghz I wanna upgrade my procceser I think my mother board is am3 socket what's a good procceser that's 150 Canadian dollars or less.ill try to find the mother board model to get a better view of it
The best CPU is definitely AMD Phenom II X4 B97. This processor can support up to HD 7750 (used), R7 250, GT 740 and maybe GTX 750, GTX 750TI is your top, it will be most likely bottlenecking your CPU, but not by much, so it is still OK. All those cards do not require power supply upgrade.
I don't see you fitting into $250 CND: AMD Phenom II X4 B97 the cheapest is around $85, EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB is $170 CND = $255 CND plus thermal paste and you are easy over the budget. I did not check RAM pricing yet.
I was considering a gtx 750 or gtx 660
plus I found out my integrated card is bottlenecking my cpu well I can easily get those upgrades I got 370$ saved up but I don't wanna go higher than 310 and will upgrading this pc make it able to play modern games im getting gta 4 today and gonna see how its working
the money is not a big issue I found a deal on amazon.ca ill link it to u https://www.amazon.ca/gp/cart/view.html/ref=nav_cart I think this is a pretty good deal
and I can get a gtx 650 or gtx 660 would this be fine enough?

i searched the procceser but I cant find it if I cant I probably will stick with this cpu Thank you for your time
Since you will be removing your old CPU, you have to clean good your heatsink and clean eBay CPU as well. you need at least Arctic Silver 5, there better compounds, but this one is one of the cheapest and well recommended, and easy to apply, will provide instructions as well.
Look at those offerings, I would recommend to get a cleaning solution as well, for best results, or you can use some technical alcohol to save money, but is it worth it?
Listed, first paste by itself, cleaning solution by itself, next 2 options for combination of both.
