I have a Asus Altec Lasing about 10 months old. My daughter took out the battery while it was still on. Now it wont boot up.

I guess it is a laptop. But Altec Lansing is a speaker manufacturer

Your daughter must be quite young to do that

Anyway I assume you tried it with the AC adapter. Does the charge light come on?

Can you get it into safe mode by tapping f8 as it boots up(or tries to)?
