[SOLVED] I have a big seperate fan blowing into my computer and I have questions about it.

What are the negative effects other than electric cost? What are the positive effects? Will this blow off dust? For now I am not sure if this is a good idea, so i still have the temper glass on. If you guys think it is a good idea, then I will put it to use. Please help, thanks!

Why are you doing that? Is the PC overheating? Do you have temp issues with CPU/GPU or whatever?

No gpu or cpu issues, but i tested first time, and there is a 5 to 10 degree reduction. I just want to know if it can keep out dust. @keith12

If there are no issues, then there isn't much point. Just buy a new fan (internal) for the front panel of your case, rather than have that big, bulky and noisy desk fan blowing air willy nilly!

As scout03 mentioned, a dust cover might help, but it's prob the same price as an internal fan, which will do a better job, look a whole lot better too.
