I have a Dell inspiron 530 with a G33m02 MB and a E2140 CPU. Will I be able to upgrade to a E5800?

Looking to upgrade to faster processor and will be adding more memory(has 4 slots/2 free)

All models of the Dell Inspiron 530 use Socket 775 processors. With that in mind, you'll be able to use any Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel Core 2 Quad, or Intel Core 2 Extreme. With that in mind, just know that you can't buy these CPUs new from Intel anymore. They can only be found in the used/refurbished market on eBay, etc.

I have the G33M02 motherboard using xp sp3 32bit and added an Intel dual core duo E8500 3.3 ghz . The BIOS is 1.0.18 and it will not boot . The FSB is 1333 I did read that this model might only support up to 800FSB ?
