I have a dell latitude E6410, need wired LAN help

had win 7 on it and was slower then crap,soI tooker down toxp, everything works on her, however, I have no wired lan, it is suppose to have an intel gigabyte in it,but intel drivers report the opposite. it has a intel wireless card in it, and it works, barley. The wireless drops to much for me with updated drivers(the rest of my gear doesnt drop just the dell (2 toshibas, an hp all in one and 2 phones) I want it run wired, I opened it up, it has the hardware, can not getto the hardware hoewver it is built like crap. I need to figure out what lan drivers I need, Ive been working on this for 3 weeks now trying to figure it out.
