I have a motherboard BIOSTAR

I have a motherboard BIOSTAR when i connect the power supply to the motherboard the fan of the motherboard starts but but no beeps. I've connected a RAM only,i have not connected any hard disk. A red led light lights but the another does not light. Is the motherboard dead. If you could help me. Thank you very much..

You need to use a psu and an HDD and connect it to a monitor to see if you can see anything. Before you return it try to actually complete your pc if it doesnt work get something like ASUS MSI or GIGABYTE.

You have the 4 pin power connected as well? Also check the Power switch connection to the motherboard.. If the motherboard is indeed dead.. I second what Answer said about Gigabyte and Asus.. Just don't buy a MSI They are not much better than biostar.
