i have a msi gtx 980ti, which ips monitor should i get ?

mobo:- asus z97 maximius vii ranger
corsair vengance 16gb 1600mhz ram
xfx 850 watt psu
msi gtx 980ti
creative soundblaster zx


i currently game on a sony 42" led tv which is okay for most games but i have to play with v-sync on so i am limiting the performance of my gtx 980ti. my question is which ips monitor should i get as i really want g-sync 144hz and ips. i have a budget of £700 if this helps, or should i get 4k monitor now and lower settings until i get a second gtx 980ti sorry decisions descisions lol. any help would be grateful.

I have a gtx 1070, so a little better than the 980ti, and I game on the Acer Xb270hu (144hz, ips, G-sync, 2k resolution). I think that's a fantastic monitor, and every game I own is playable on super high settings. There's also the more expensive Asus PG279Q (165hz is the main difference).
