I have a question about USB devices

If you have a keyboard and a mouse plugged into the same usb port through the use of a hub would it slow them down?

Don't use hub , they need their own port.

No it won't. The performance needs of a mouse and kbd are so low, it doesn't make a difference.

I have my keyboard connected to the USB, and my wireless mouse USB dongle connected to the USB port on the keyboard.
No difference vs having the mouse USB thing connected directly to the motherboard port.

1. Just plug them into native USB ports on the motherboard
or
2. Just try it with this hub. See what happens.
