[SOLVED] I have a R7 2700x and RTX 2060 what should I upgrade

I am looking to upgrade my pc. I was planning on building a new pc but the cost turned me away. I play MW2 mostly and I get around 110 -160 depending on the map. The benchmark test says my gpu is about 90% and my cpu is 10%. Which makes me think I should buy a new gpu like a rtx 3070. Any tips on what I should do?

I would say, thats a pretty even combination. You can either upgrade the GPU, depending on the resolution you play. Or, unless you are facing any issues, save the money for a full upgrade down the line.

I play on 1080p

According to your mobo and RAM you may be able to socket up to 5xxx on AM4
With enough budget you could upgrade to a 5600X and have some money left towards a better GPU.

I have a asus tuf b450m mobo and 3000 mhz 16gb ram

For 1080p, 3070 would be wasted resource. A 3060 or 3060ti should be a good balance with that CPU, or any CPU you upgrade to with that board.

Doesn’t that mean the cpu is the limiting factor 10% of the time?
