i have a sleep mode question

when i push the mouse to wake the pc out of sleep mode it takes a second or two for the pc to kick on...........it started doing this after i replaced the front case fan....i also just replaced my mouse and keyboard as well....doesnt seem to be a problem, im just getting opinions just in case.
