[SOLVED] I have a sys file that I want deleted but system doesn't allow me because it is currently running

the file that i cant delete is XtuAcpiDriver.sys. I've tried to delete it through cmd but it just tells me "access denied". The exact command that I used to try and delete it is as follows: del /f C:\Windows\System32\drivers\XtuAcpiDriver.sys

Any suggestions on how I can remove this file?

Uninstall Intel extreme tuning utility.

I tried but it left that specific file anyways. I also tried to uninstall XTU with REVO uninstaller as it usually deletes the residues as well but still no luck

If Intel extreme tuning utility is already uninstalled, then boot into safe mode and try deleting the file then.
And do it from elevated command prompt.
