I Have a System Problem(?)

I wrote in a few weeks back about an Outlook problem of (NOT RESPONDING) popping up when I tried to open folders, "BUT" it appears it may not be with MicroSoftware, because I just opened an on screen manual for my Canon MX420 printer and wouldn't you know as it was opening up the error (NOT RESPONDING) came up...Sooo, it appears I may have something else causing this error but I have no idea of which way to go or where to look. If anyone has any ideas, please pass them on. I'd really appreciate it. The programs open, but it's taking longer than normal. Many Thanks!

Question from magnogreato : "Error "Not Responding" ????"

I wrote in last week about "Not Responding" being displayed when I tried opening different folders in Outlook 2010 and got assistance with that thinking I had Office problem/s....well, I opened the Canon Printer Manual and wouldn't you know it, it displayed, "Not esponding".

After about 30 seconds the folders open and so did the Canon manual but this tells me I've got a System problem(?) and I'm lost and don't know which way to go.

If anyone has had that problem or know of someone who has and got it fixed, I would sure appreciate any/all assistance with solving this problem.

I'm in this section because I didn't see a specific dropdown topic to cover what I have.

my sys. went south and I re-installed win 8.1 and went to office 2016 and the problem was other than what I had said....thanks
