I have a Toshiba Netbook NB520 with Intel Atom N570 CPU. It came with a 320Gb HDD and a DDR3 2GB 1,333MHz RAM. Is this Netbook capable of running on an 8GB or atleast a 4GB RAM Module? The BIOS Vendor on the Motherboard is Phoenix Technologies.

Your netbook maxes out at 2 GB of RAM. It is a processor limitation, and will not run 4 or 8 GB of RAM.

This is exactly why you see so many netbooks for sale on craigslist. People bought them due to the hype and the price, then realized they are too slow to do a lot of things, and everyone started selling them.

They are great as long as you understand the limitations, say for a student wanting to take notes, type our reports, watch a non-HD video and use Skype for chatting while having a small cheap system. Anything over those basic uses, you are better off with a regular laptop configuration.
