2. If you're thinking of using the laptop as a display device for the PS3, probably not. Laptop video ports are generally outies, not innies.

Does your laptop have an HDMI port? If you want to show it in HD you'll need one of those. Second. Like USAFRet said, some of them can be outies on some laptops. But always check with your TV (if you have a TV with an HDMI port and you have an HDMI cable).
