Hi,

I don't know much about it but some sites suggest that A520m-Plus Wifi Motherboard supports Ryzen 7 5800X, but some people told me that I can only have Ryzen 5 supported, I want to upgrade my CPU from Ryzen 5 3600 to Ryzen 7 5800 but Don't know if my motherboard is compatible with it.

Solution
If you're referring to the 5800X and not the 5800X3D, then you're literally on the bare minimum BIOS version. If you look next to the processor, you need BIOS version 0309 to be able to work with said processor(not the 5800X3D, mind you) however I'm someone who'd make sure the BIOS is on the latest version to avoid any stability/compatibility issues.

When in doubt, consult the manufacturer's product page, for support info.

I'd look into a B550 chipset board instead of the A520 but since you've asked, yes the board will work with that processor, just make sure you're on the latest BIOS version before dropping the 5800X into the board.

So, Currently I have 0309 03/02/2021 version, I checked online it seems the processor needs 1004 version but upon further googling I found that 1004 version is dated 2020. Idk I am kinda confused. is my version enough and if not can you point me to a useful tutorial about updating bios?

thanks guys, I suppose I will ask the shop I am going to buy CPU from to update the board bios as well. it's kinda risky for me as I have never done this before.
